Valtiberina

The Valtiberina (or Val Tiberina) is a valley positioned between Tuscany and Umbria, parallel to the Casentino and crossed by the River Tiber. A land which forms a border between Tuscany and Umbria, and Marche and Emilia Romagna, Valtiberina draws among the Apennines a stunning landscape crossed by the River Tiber. Its mix of art, history, nature, offers a taste of a Tuscany still relatively unknown and not effected by mass tourism, where peace and the joy of living are measured by nature's rhythm. Happens therefore that the tourists who come to discover Arezzo, Monterchi, Sansepolcro and Caprese Michelangelo, tread the same path as that of Piero della Francesca in his travels for work. The well known renaissance painter, originally from this area, represents, in fact, the rare case of a great artist who kept the birth place as a stable home for his entire life.

Arrivare in Auto

La Valtiberina è attraversata per tutta la sua lunghezza dalla Statale Tiberina 3, e dalla Superstrada E45 che congiunge Roma al Nord Italia valicando l'Appennino nei pressi le sorgenti del fiume Tevere. La Superstrda E78 la collegano ad Arezzo e alla Val di Chiana. In breve si raggiunge il Casentino ad ovest, la Romagna a nord, il Montefeltro e all'Adriatico ad est.

Casello autostradale A1 (Milano-Napoli): entrata e uscita unica Arezzo, località Battifolle.
Da Arezzo: proseguire per Strada Statale 73 Tiberina - E78 fino alla periferia di Sansepolcro, svoltare a destra in direzione Gricignano.
Da Roma: E45 uscita Sansepolcro, direzione Arezzo sulla Strada Statale 73 Tiberina, svoltare a sinistra in direzione Gricignano
Da Rimini: A 14 casello autostradale Cesena, proseguire sulla E45 fino uscita Sansepolcro, direzione Arezzo sulla Strada Statale 73 Tiberina, svoltare a sinistra in direzione Gricignano
Da Urbino: Strada Statale 73 bis fino a San Giustino, proseguire in direzione nordovest verso Sansepolcro.

Arrivare in Aereo

Per raggiungere la nostra Casa Vacanze potete fare scalo all'aeroporto di Firenze "Amerigo Vespucci" oppure all'aeroporto di Pisa, di Roma, di Bologna, di Forlì o di Perugia. Dall'aeroporto potete prendere un taxi, un autobus di linea oppure noleggiare un'auto.
